What do I wear to class?

Great question!

did you know that when we DRESS like dancers, we FEEL like dancers!

So here’s our dancewear requirements:

Ballet & Pointe (including Ballet “Class”)

Hair must be in a bun.  Pink Ballet tights.  Pink Ballet shoes.   Body wear must be form fitting ie Bodysuit & tights, Tank top, leggings.     Warmup wear can be worn for the beginning of class.

Tap, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary & Highland

Hair must be up in ponytail and away from the face (hairband’s are great for this!)  Caramel tights or bare legs.  Caramel Tap & Jazz Shoes.  Foot undies or bare feet for Modern & contemporary.  Highland shoes for Highland dance.   Body wear must be form fitting ie bodysuit & tan tights, tank tops, leggings.  Warm up wear can be worn for the beginning of class. 

Acro & Cheer

Hair must be up in a ponytail and away from the face (hairbands are great for this!).  Footless tights or bare legs.  Bare feet.  Body wear must be form fitting.  Tank tops, shorts, bodysuits.  Warm up wear can be worn for the beginning of class.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop dancers can wear lose fitting clothing. Black Hip Hop shoes.

Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre dancers must have hair up in ponytail and away from the face (hairbands are great for this!).  Body wear should be form fitting ie leggings, bodysuits, caramel tights, tank tops, shorts.  Warm up wear can be worn for the beginning of class.  Shoes will be determined once costume is chosen.  Dancers may wear jazz shoes, bare feet, foot undies to class.

Kinder Kids

Kinder Kids must have their hair up and/or away from the face.  Body wear can be tutu skirts with a body suit, or any other form fitting body wear like tank tops & leggings, bodysuit and footless tights.   Kinder Kids are in bare feet for class and performances.
